MISSION:
To host the highest quality Golf Tournament by partnering with individuals and organizations in the sprit of altruism.

The Prime Minister’s Charity Golf Classic (PMCGC) is a charitable organization registered in 1997 under the Corporations Act of 1995. The PMCGC holds annual golf tournaments under the distinguished patronage of the Honorable Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago. The proceeds from these tournaments are distributed to deserving charitable cases as the need arise.

Over the past twenty one (21) years the tournament has grown from strength to strength and is now recognized as one of the most prestigious events on the annual golfing calendar of Trinidad and Tobago. One of the key success factors has been the continued sponsorship and donations from some of the leading corporation in the country. To date the Prime Minister ‘s Charity Golf Classic has donated more than six Million($6,000,000)Dollars to charitable causes,  including a Mobile Screening Clinic for The Cancer Society of Trinidad. Tobago valued over $700,000. Another such project was the purchase of an Ambulance for The Red Cross (South Branch) at a cost of over $500,000.

The PMCGC pioneered work with children challenged with Cerebral Palsy, by bringing to Trinidad from Miami Dr. Martin Carillo one of the leading Therapists in this field. For over 15 years Dr. Carillo has been working tirelessly with these children and teaching  their caregivers to provide proper care to their charges.

For Christmas, The PMCGC distributes hampers of food and basic items to needy families throughout Trinidad & Tobago.

More recently the devastation in the Philippines again brought to our attention the need to extend our reaches to our neighbours, we donated $25,000.00 to the Habitat For Humanity for their Philippines Fund.

This level of assistance could not be possible without the support of the Sponsors, golfers and friends who have supported us over the years.

Now in 2017, our 21st Year, we have to date disbursed in excess of Six Million($6,000,000.00) Dollars to deserving causes including but not limited to NGOs and Individuals.
The Board of Directors of the PMCGC has envisioned a path of growth to expand our annual fundraiser and is seeking the support of Corporate Citizens to make this annual event an International event in the not too distant future.
